My Christmas Gift Guide ~ Beauty Gifts!

I’m just going to say it. Some of you may think it is a bit early… but… it’s beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS! And I am ready for it. I have gotten used to celebrating early due to working in retail (decorations were up before Remembrance Day), and I started playing Christmas music the day after November 11th. My tree is up, the lights are glistening and I have already ordered a few presents!

In past years, I have struggled with finding the perfect gift for my loved ones. Then I discovered gift guides. I have been watching Fleur De Force’s gift guides for a few years now and I love to see what other people are finding cool and exciting to gift that year.

I decided to do my own gift guide this year. This one is completely beauty based and will satisfy any beauty junkie’s hunger to try new trends and the latest products. There is a little something for every beauty lover at every price, ranging from $16CAN to $254CAN. You can find these online and at any Sephora, Lush or The Body Shop. Let’s get started!

The Body Shop Almond Milk and Honey Gift Pouch – $15CAN

15

This is a great stocking stuffer or Secret Santa gift for any body care lover. At $15, the gift comes with a miniature Almond Milk and Honey shower cream, a full size Almond Milk and Honey hand cream and a miniature Almond Milk and Honey body butter. This is a great Christmas gift for those who suffer from dry skin in the winter. Each item will deeply nourish the skin, and leaves a light subtle scent (specially formulated as hypoallergenic).

Living Proof Restore Trio – $16CAN

16

I absolutely love Living Proof’s products, so I had to include something from them here. This gift set includes miniature shampoo, conditioner, a leave in treatment and a restorative mask that will be sure to nourish anybody’s dry winter locks. The scent is a soft citrus and truly smells amazing. These products won’t leave a greasy feeling in the hair, so even people with oily hair would be happy with them!

LUSH Sweet Christmas Bath Bundle – $19.95CAN

20

If you have a LUSH lover in your life, this gift is perfect. Scented with their classic Snow Fairy fragrance, this sweetly scented gift includes a Pink bath bomb and a Candy Mountain bubble bar. While bath bombs tend to be one use per bomb, you can get up to four uses out of a bubble bar, making this a great value for money! Plus, how cute is the giftwrap it comes in?

Ole Henriksen Three Little Scrubs Gift Set – $30CAN

30

Have to buy something for someone with dry, flaky winter skin? Look no further. Ole Henriksen is a Danish skincare brand who knows all the best tips to cure cold, dry skin. For $30, this set comes with three miniature scrubs. It includes a Transforming Walnut Scrub, a Pore Balance Facial Sauna Scrub (my fave!) and a Transforming Almond Facial Polish. Your loved one can kiss those dry spots goodbye in a flash!

ATELIER COLOGNE Nécessaire Citrus Cologne Absolue Set – $32CAN

32

Atelier Cologne is a luxurious fragrance line sold exclusively at Sephora. If you have a citrus perfume lover in your life, this gift will allow them to try a little bit of each citrusy fragrance from Atelier. This gift includes:

Pomélo Paradis is a new and unexpected fragrance experience. Fresh and sparkling pomelo from Florida floats over rich notes of blackcurrant bud and the complexity of Haitian vetiver.

Orange Sanguine, a zesty and energizing burst of crushed ripe fruit, plays off sweet blood orange juice against bitter orange peel and sensual notes of geranium.

Bergamote Soleil is effervescent and lively with a soft hint of floral in the background. This unisex fragrance offers a sunny composition built around the freshness of bergamot from Calabria.

Clémentine California—new for 2017, early access only at Sephora—is a sunny composition built around Clementine from California—fruity, green, and sweet.”

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette – $36CAN

36

If you are buying for someone who is new to makeup and is looking to try out eyeshadow for the first time, I highly recommend the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. It includes six beautiful shades which are easy to blend and create basic looks for the beginner. I think this is perfect for someone in high school who is looking to wear eyeshadow daily, but needs to keep it more natural. I also think six shades is the perfect amount; any more and the receiver may get overwhelmed. This has been out for a while and it remains popular, and for good reason!

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Trio – $67

67

If you are involved in the beauty community whatsoever, I’m sure you have heard of Fenty Beauty and the Match Stix Trio. These easy-to-use cream contour sticks make applying our complexion fast and flawless. If you are shopping for a busy mom or an on-the-go college student who has an interest in makeup, these are a great gift. Individually, they cost $31, but when you buy them in a bundle, the price of each goes way down! This is truly a steal, and anyone could use these!

Sephora Collection Ready to Roll Brush Set – $88CAN

88

I had to include this brush set in my gift guide, because I have it myself! I love every brush in this collection and it is a great bargain. A single brush at Sephora costs upwards of $20, but in this collection you get 10 brushes for $90. That puts each professional, soft, easy to use brush down to $9 a piece. I use this brush set every day and I truly love it. This is a great gift for someone looking to expand their brush collection and use something a bit more professional than drugstore brushes. Highly, highly recommend this set!

(includes: angled blush brush, powder brush, flat top foundation brush, highlight/contour brush, eyeshadow blender brush, concealer brush, eyebrow brush with spoolie, packing brush, fan brush and smudger brush.)

Origins Anti Aging All Stars Set – $95CAN

95

If you are buying for a mom, grandmother, aunt or anyone a bit older in age who loves skincare, this is the gift for you. This Origins gift includes their luxury anti aging line called ‘Plantscription,’ which is perfect for anyone looking to get into anti-aging. This naturally based line includes a cleanser, treatment lotion, moisturizer and serum. It also includes a gorgeous cosmetics bag, where your loved one could store their skincare or makeup. Love this one!

(this is online only)

Drybar Fully Loaded Set – $254CAN

254

And lastly, I have included the ultimate gift for anyone hair care obsessed. This Drybar Fully Loaded set comes with: a full sized Buttercup blow dryer, Lil’ Lemon Drop Detangler To-Go, Hold Me Hair Clips, a miniature On The Rocks Clarifying Charcoal shampoo, a miniature On The Rocks Lightweight Replenishing conditioner, a miniature Prep Rally Prime & Prep detangler, a miniature Triple Sec 3-In-1 volumizing spray, a miniature Sparkling Soda Shine Mist and a miniature Detox Dry Shampoo. While this gift is expensive, it comes with a ton of stuff and is good for any hair type. I love the Drybar scent and have heard rave reviews about the hair dryer from clients! Everything is parabens, sulphates and phthalates free.

Let me know if this gift guide helped you find that perfect gift guide for your beauty lover in your life! Did I miss anything? What are you asking for this Christmas?

Happy Holidays!

Love,

Taylor xo
